I love the movie Peter Pan, but the play wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. My favorite things about it were the Lost Boys (they were adorable), the Indians (they were kick butt!) and the set (it was so colorful). I didn't like the fact that had an old guy playing Peter. That bothered me greatly...you can ask Mrs. Tracey...I was complaining about that alot. Also, Tinkerbell looked like an upside down dinosaur and Captain Hook (in the words of Mrs. Tracey) looked like the missing member of Kiss. If I was the director I would get somone younger to play Peter, no offense to that guy, but you could just tell that he was WAY too old to play Peter. Other than Tinkerbell the lights were pretty good too.
OMGOSH Erin you literally stole this whole blog off of my blog!!!!! I was totally thinking the same thing about Captain Hook and his crazy make-up!! And I hated the Tinker Bell light, it looked really dumb especially when she was going in different directions because it looked like she was flying backwards because she only faced one way!!! And the dude playing Peter Pan had tattoos for Pete's sake (get it?? "Peter", "Pete")!!!! lol
ReplyDeleteAlso, the Lost Boys sort of stole the show because they acted so cute when they were singing about the fact that they finally had a mother!! And they cracked me up when they were singing to their "new dad" about being quite and the whole "me" and "I" bit!!! They were truly hilarious.
