Make-up in the lime light.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seussical

I saw Seussical Musical at the Little Theatre and it was amazing! Make-up really changed the whole thing. If they weren't wearing make-up it wouldn have been good, but not as convincing and fun to watch. Make-up will probably play a relatively large role in our production. The brides will have to be transformed into Chinese women. The Huns will have to look evil. The emperor, Fa Li, Fa Zhou, and Grandmother Fa will have to look old. Old-age make-up is a special technique that we learned about last year that will probably play a large role in our production. (That's Kia as the "Mysterious Old Man".)

  1. HAHA old make-up!!!! I remember we had a whole workshop on old-age make-up!! Good times. But those workshops really paid off didn't they?? Kia, Clark, Julia, and Sarah all looked amazingly old from off-stage. And even as I look at some pics of them that I took up close, they still look really good... of course you know they're not old, but it really makes you wonder!!
I can't wait to see the Huns costumes! I hope they're really scary because that wig of yours is hilarious!!!! You guys will be the funniest things ever because you will have these scary outfits with this crazy hair, and your characters are so funny!! I think the Huns' costumes will be the icing on the cake of their hilarity!! I hope you're having fun being a Hun (sorry for the rhyme), I wonder if this tops last year as Pinnochio?!?!
