This is the actual RENT site. It tells of a very descriptive start for RENT. What I found most interesting was that the writer of RENT (Jonathan Larson) never saw his final production at an actual performance. He died the day before the first performance. Also, the time put into the show is crazy. Seven years on one production. That's dedication. So many people were involved with RENT as well. Another thing I found really interesting was that Stephen Sondheim helped with RENT by giving them advice and such. Stephen Sondheim also did Into The Woods from last year. =)
